The Ministry of Tourism granted licenses for tourism qualification and commendation for three projects in As-Suwayda Governorate, at a cost of 9.800 billion Syrian pounds, and providing about 300 job opportunities for graduates of institutes and hotel schools and those with tourism expertise.
In a statement to SANA reporter, As-Suwayda Tourism Director Yarub Al-Arbeed said that the first project is a first-class three-star restaurant, a cafeteria, indoor and outdoor games halls and terraces in the town of Umm al-Zaytoun, at an estimated cost of about 6.5 billion pounds, with 345 chairs, and providing about 250 job opportunities.
Al-Arbeed indicated that the other two projects were granted a tourist qualification license, one of which is a restaurant, a diversified gymnasium for all ages, and external terraces of the second class with two stars in the Kom Al-Hasas area on the Sweida Al-Qaria road, at a cost of about 2.5 billion pounds and providing about 25 job opportunities, while the other project is a swimming pool and its accessories from The second degree, with two stars, in the town of Umm al-Zaytoun, at a cost of about 800 million pounds, and provides about 25 job opportunities.
