The plans of FC Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and his business partner for the Forsthaus Valepp have not always been without conflict.
Now the Schliersee building committee is convinced.
Schliersee - The building committee of the municipality of Schliersee voted four to two on Tuesday evening in favor of the plans of FC Bayern goalkeeper and star footballer Manuel Neuer and his business partner Johannes Rabl.
The two want to revive the Forsthaus Valepp, which has been empty for eight years, as an inn.
Their concept: "Homeland security, environmental protection, monument protection," said Rabl at an earlier meeting on site.

Now Neuer and Rabl had presented a new concept that envisages the renovation of the monument and a new building.
Previous plans for the Valepp forest house had caused resentment.
Four out of six members of the building committee agreed.
Two voted against: Gerhard Waas (Greens) and Horst Teckhaus (PWG).
Their reasoning: they were bothered by the planned parking spaces and would prefer it if the Forsthaus Valepp could only be reached without a car.

"That's actually what we would prefer," said Manuel Neuer's business partner Johannes Rabl in the building committee.
But this can only be achieved step by step.
Schliersee's Mayor Franz Schnitzenbaumer was pleased with the approval of the committee.
Due to the changed plans, he was able to “agree with a clear conscience”.
