A fire broke out today (Thursday) in an open area between two buildings in the Kiryat Menachem neighborhood of Jerusalem, at the intersection of Costa Rica and Nurit streets.
Two residential buildings, a school and two kindergartens were evacuated.
Firefighters took control of the fire and police forces are conducting searches of evacuated buildings.
The place is being treated by medical staff and individual casualties as a result of smoke inhalation, and there is no danger to additional buildings in the area.
