What began as the Pride Parade in Tel Aviv, and is now spreading to more than 60 Pride events, from the north of the country to the south, which will take place in Pride Month, June.

The Pride and Tolerance Parade in Jerusalem marks 20 years since the first parade took place in the capital.

The parade will take place under heavy security in light of past events.

Pride events will be held all over the country, including in the periphery: Afula, Mitzpe Ramon, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Sderot, Nahariya, Harish, Tiberias, Rehovot, Kiryat Bialik, and dozens of other local authorities.

But pride events are not welcomed everywhere.

A pride event was supposed to take place in Netivot this year, but it was canceled after death threats against the organizers.

Instead, a full month of tolerance and acceptance is planned in Netivot.

The project, which began with inquiries from the city's residents, will include dozens of meetings in the living room of the city's residents with members of the local proud community, in which they will tell the story of their lives and personal acquaintances in order to promote tolerance.

The first major event to kick off Pride Month will be the Pride and Tolerance Parade in Jerusalem, which kicks off on Thursday, June 2, with the production of the Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance.

The parade will start at 15:00 with a Pride Happening in the Bell Garden, and will start at 16:30 on the traditional route of the parade - through Keren Hayesod Street, Paris Square, the city center and ending at the Independence Garden at 19:00 on the main stage with performances and celebrations.

Participants will move to the place where the late Shira Banki was murdered 7 years ago.

The Pride Parade in Tel Aviv, the largest pride event in Israel and the Middle East, will take place on Friday, June 10, in a new route: In light of the renovations in the city center, the parade will leave the Sportek complex starting at 12:00 and will be held along Rokach Road.

In Be'er Sheva, the big pride event in the south will be held on Thursday, June 16, produced by "Beit Gah in Be'er Sheva."

The parade will begin at 5:00 PM at the Pride Fair and from there the parade will depart to the City Hall plaza, where a festive event will be held.

Ran Shelhabi, director general of the Association for the LGBT, said: "The pride events that take place across the country are the biggest protest in Israel for full equality and security for all of us everywhere in Israel. A Pride event is different and reflects the nature and diversity that exist in every proud local community in the country.
