A novice driver got into the opposite lane with his old Mercedes near Ansbach and crashed into a van.
There were three seriously injured.
Ansbach – A serious accident occurred in Middle Franconia on Wednesday evening (May 25).
A novice driver (18) was driving an old Mercedes on the B14 between Aurach and Neuenstetten (Ansbach district).

The 18-year-old then got into the oncoming lane for reasons that are still unclear.

The fire brigade alerted other units.
Both drivers were taken to hospitals by helicopter after being freed.
The passenger of the van was taken to the hospital in Ansbach by ambulance, he is also seriously injured.

According to Frohwieser, it then turned out that one of the people involved in the accident was an acquaintance of the fire brigade forces, which is why "the emergency chaplain was alerted" to look after the emergency services.
