The cocaine was mixed with mango whose texture and color it also had thanks to a dye, explained Peru's police chief, Luis Vera, adding that it had been found in several packages of five kilos each, presented as mango pulp.
It was about to be shipped by sea to Europe, Spain and Germany in particular.
Peruvian police have already seized 27 tons of drugs since the beginning of the year.
Peru is one of the main producers of cocaine in the world, with around 400 tonnes per year, according to authorities.
