Statistically they are considered "recovered", but they are not healthy: Hundreds of thousands of Germans suffer from Long Covid. But research into therapies is sluggish – also due to a lack of political support.


Corona seems to be over for most Germans.

Not for those affected by Long Covid: Hundreds of thousands are still struggling with the long-term effects of their illness.

They are chronically exhausted, have memory problems and breathing problems.

So far, there is hardly any medical help for them;

hardly any impetus comes from politics.

Where's the help?

Young people affected tell how radically their lives have changed with Long Covid.

And Charité professor Carmen Scheibenbogen explains why more money is urgently needed for research.
