The Russian Emergencies Ministry defused about 24,000 mines left by Ukrainian militants in the liberated Donbass lands.
"The Russian emergency units continue to work to remove mines from the infrastructure and lands, and nearly 152 hectares have been surveyed, which resulted in the discovery of about 24,000 mines and their deactivation," the ministry said in a statement carried by RIA Novosti.
The joint forces of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia and the Ministry of Emergencies of the Donetsk People's Republic are processing and surveying the rubble of buildings on an area of \u200b\u200bmore than 55 thousand square meters.
