The Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Amr Salem, discussed with the Iranian Ambassador in Damascus Mahdi Sobhani and his accompanying delegation relations of economic cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries and ways to develop and enhance them.
The discussions focused on the reality of the mills' work implemented by Ard Machine Company for the manufacture of mills and silos in Syria and the future projects in this field.
Dr. Salem affirmed the ministry's readiness to provide all the necessary facilities to ensure the implementation of the company's work in building and rehabilitating the mills in accordance with the best international conditions and specifications.
For his part, the owner of Ard Machine Company, Jaafar Chiusi, explained that the Salhab Mill, which the company is implementing, will be built with actual investment in the near future, indicating the company’s readiness to implement new mills, repair and restore mills and silos that were affected by terrorism, and raise the production capacity of existing mills or those that need rehabilitation, restoration and provision of spare parts. and spare parts for it.
The two sides stressed the need to raise the relations of economic cooperation and trade exchange to the level of the distinguished political relations existing between the two countries to face all challenges, especially the siege imposed on them by the enemy itself and to ease pressures on their peoples.
