Suspected indecent assault occurred in Ngau Tau Kok.
At about 9 pm on the 25th, a 15-year-old girl was suspected of being molested by a man in Caixia Road.
After the girl's father found out, he immediately stepped forward to protect his daughter and fought with the suspect who was suspected of indecent assault.
Police arrived at the scene to investigate and arrested a 55-year-old man surnamed Zhu on suspicion of "indecent assault" and "fighting in a public place". Since the girl's father had fought with the suspect, the police also arrested a man on suspicion of "fighting in a public place". The girl's 54-year-old father.
During the incident, the man suspected of indecent assault suffered injuries to his hands, neck and feet; while the girl's father suffered eye injuries and had to be sent to United Hospital for treatment.
It is understood that the suspect who is suspected of indecent assault is not acquainted with the girl and her father.
Police said the case was handed over to the Sau Mau Ping Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up.
