The directorates of education in Homs and Lattakia are completing their preparations for the basic and secondary general exams

The Directorate of Education in Lattakia has completed its preparations for the examinations of the basic and general secondary education certificates in its various branches for the 2021-2022 school year.

The Director of Education, Imran Abu Khalil, told SANA reporter that the number of students registered for the basic education certificate exams in the governorate is 23287, distributed among 202 centres. And 365 male and female students of the commercial high school distributed among 4 centers, and 1968 male and female students of the industrial vocational high school in all specializations, distributed among 20 centers, and 170 female students of the women’s vocational high school distributed among 4 centers, in addition to the processing of 3 centers for the secondary school certificate students from the two governorates of Idlib and Raqqa, whose number is 238.

Abu Khalil indicated that a special health center has been equipped to receive and secure the wounded of the homeland who are taking exams in the examination health center, which are 20 general secondary students and 17 students of basic education and for health cases after the student was presented to the medical committee concerned with making the decision, indicating that the secondary certificate centers are distributed in the cities of Lattakia and Jableh only. The basic education certificate centers are distributed in the city centers and their countryside.

According to Abu Khalil, all the requirements of the exam process have been secured, including exam answer sheets and a question-printing center for all certificates, maintenance work for photocopiers and repair of seats in order to ensure the best atmosphere for students, in addition to coordination with Latakia Governorate and the police command to ensure the discipline and stability of exams.

In Homs Governorate, the Directorate of Education completed the necessary preparations and preparations to ensure the conduct of the examination process for students of the two certificates. The Director of Homs Education, Walid Marei, confirmed to SANA reporter that coordination has been made with all concerned authorities to provide the best atmosphere for students and implement the plan set to maintain security and protect exam centers with the development of a plan for health emergencies.

He pointed out that the observers were distributed to the 521 exam centers in the city and the countryside, identifying the heads of the centers, secretaries and delegates, providing the necessary instructions to them, providing the requirements for the exam process such as furniture and stationery, and distributing students to the halls, pointing out that the number of students for basic and secondary education certificates for the current academic year 58 thousand and 200 students.
