The competent authorities inaugurated today a settlement center in the city of Al-Qatifah in the countryside of Damascus as part of the government’s efforts to return all those who were deceived to their normal lives under the control of the Syrian state, while the settlement centers in Deir Ezzor and Raqqa continue to receive those who wish to settle their status.
SANA’s reporter stated that, “in cooperation with the people and dignitaries in the Al-Qutayfa area 40 km north of Damascus, the competent authorities opened a settlement center in the city center targeting all wanted persons in the area who want a settlement in preparation for their return to carrying out their normal work and to the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army for those fleeing from them and those who have failed the compulsory service.”
In Deir ez-Zor, SANA’s reporter reported that “the settlement center in the worker’s hall in Deir ez-Zor city received today a number of wanted civilians, those fleeing service and those who have left the service, and their status has been settled in preparation for their return to their homes, some of which have been abandoned for years.”
In statements to the reporter, Obaid Al-Khalaf indicated that he made the settlement in less than 5 minutes and was welcomed by the settlement committees.
Abdul-Jabbar Al-Hassani indicated that he was behind in the reserve service and came to the center to take advantage of the opportunity to settle and join the service.
Hashem Wadban expressed his great happiness at his return to the bosom of the homeland after this honor, calling on all those wanted to take advantage of this opportunity and settle their situation.
The doors of the Sabkha and Debsy Afnan centers remain open in the countryside of Raqqa, where settlement committees receive those covered by it and those coming from different regions of the governorate.
SANA's reporter in Raqqa pointed out that after hundreds of wanted persons joined the settlement process, the concerned authorities continue to cooperate with the notables of the regions and the people to ensure that all those involved in the settlement process reach the specialized committees to settle their conditions and return them to their areas and their normal daily life.
