In a fraud case in Tsim Sha Tsui, a piece of famous watch was deceived.

A man called the police today (26th), pointing out that a watch worth about 80,000 IWC sold at a watch shop in Tsim Sha Tsui originally belonged to him.

He claimed that he had sold it on an online second-hand platform earlier, but unfortunately he encountered a "ticket party" swindler who cheated his watch with a blank cheque and disappeared.

Recently, he found his lost watch on a second-hand platform and put it on sale again. The watch was stored in a watch shop, and he called the police and asked for it to be recovered.

Police have temporarily classified the case as fraud, and no arrests have been made for the time being.

The male victim, surnamed Yang (31 years old), called the police at 1:25 pm today (26th).

He told police that the watch was put up for sale on a second-hand platform last week.

3 days ago, I made an appointment with the buyer to settle in Mong Kok.

Initially, the other party claimed to pay by transfer, and then changed to pay by cheque.

After the buyer took away the watch, the victim later discovered the "bombed ticket" and could no longer contact the buyer, believing that he had been deceived.

A few days later, the victim found the watch suspected of being defrauded on the online second-hand trading platform.

What annoyed the victim was that the photos used to sell the watch were also the photos he used before.

The watch is currently stored in a watch shop in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The victim said that after going to the store to find out, the watch on sale is the same as the watch, and the strap is also a belt that he specially ordered earlier, and the body number of the watch is the same as his watch.

The police arrived at the scene to investigate, and asked the store clerk and the male owner about the source of the watch and other information.

The victim said that he believed the watch shop was unaware.

The police initially classified the case as a "request for police investigation", and later classified the case as a fraud case, which was followed up by the Tsim Sha Tsui detectives.
