This 2022 edition of the World Economic Forum in Davos, which ended on Thursday, was decidedly different from previous ones.
Firstly because after two meetings canceled because of the Covid (January 2021 and January 2022), the world's economic and political elite was invited to May.
The snow-covered slopes of the Graubünden resort and its frozen sidewalks that you walk with removable crampons have given way to green meadows.
"This meeting organized in the spring could have brought a positive note, but the atmosphere was rather gloomy
," commented José Viñals, president of the Standard Chartered bank.
