The Yvelines gendarmerie is mobilizing an important search device this Thursday morning, in Jouars-Pontchartrain (Yvelines).

A 44-year-old woman left her home last night in the hamlet of La Dauberie.

Mother of two children aged around ten, she had already tried to end her life two weeks ago.

When her husband returned home on Wednesday evening, the two children were alone.

The mother of the family would have left the house with a large quantity of drugs.

A helicopter has been flying over the town since 6 a.m.

A search notice in neighboring towns

About twenty gendarmes, assisted by tracking dogs, patrol the area.

Research is focused on the hamlet of La Dauberie, around rue de la Chicaudière.

But the search notice issued by the gendarmes and relayed on social networks extends to neighboring municipalities: Le Tremblay-sur-Mauldre, Saint-Rémy-l'Honoré, Bazoches-sur-Guyonne and Maurepas.

Investigations must be undertaken at the beginning of the afternoon in the Mauldre, the river which crosses the town.

People likely to provide information are invited to contact the Jouars-Pontchartrain gendarmerie brigade at 01.34.91.76.80.

The person we are looking for has brown eyes.

Her hair is chestnut, with blond streaks.

She is 1.64 m tall and probably wears a beige down jacket.
