The Spanish health authorities announced the registration of 25 new cases of monkeypox virus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 84, topping the list of European countries with the number of confirmed cases of the virus.

And the Ministry of Health indicated in a statement yesterday that the total confirmed infections in the capital, Madrid, amounted to 65, after 14 new cases were recorded during the past 24 hours.

The ministry drew attention to the adoption of a health protocol that includes a request to isolate the patient compulsorily and obligate him to use the muzzle.
