Canada announced ten new confirmed cases of monkeypox, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 27.

Reuters quoted the Canadian Public Health Authority as saying, "It has been confirmed that ten new cases of monkeypox have been recorded, including the first case recorded in the province of Ontario," noting that Quebec alone has monitored 25 of the total cases so far and it is likely that more cases will be confirmed in the coming days after examining samples from different regions.

Yesterday, Canada announced that it had detected 15 confirmed cases in Quebec, while the first two cases of monkeypox were detected last week.
