The Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed that the United States is interfering in Beijing's internal affairs and is working to tarnish its image at home and abroad.
In response to a speech delivered by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken yesterday in which he considered Beijing to be the most serious long-term threat to the international system, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said during a press conference today, according to AFP, that this speech "spreads false information, exaggerates the threat of China and interferes." its internal affairs and distorts the image of its internal and external policies.
Wang stressed that his country firmly opposes Blinken's rhetoric that Washington seeks to contain and discourage China's development while working to maintain US hegemony and power in the world.
