The East Railway first used steam trains, and since the 1960s, it has been fully converted to diesel trains.
By 1978, the KCRC started electrification projects, laying double tracks and installing overhead cables along the line, and ordered Hong Kong's first-generation electric combination trains from the British capital Jiamu, that is, the mid-term refurbishment trains were transformed into "yellow heads" before "black teenage heads". He asked how the MTR would display decommissioned trains and whether the railway museum could be expanded.
