Salvatore Marchetta, 49, died at Papardo di Messina from his injuries after falling from a scaffold yesterday in Messina.
According to an initial reconstruction entrusted to the police, yesterday afternoon the man was assembling a window frame in a house on the second floor of a building in the northern area.
He lost his balance and fell into the void.
An ambulance intervened and transferred him to the hospital.
The Gazzetta del Sud wrote it in the news pages. Immediately after the man underwent surgery, which however proved to be in vain.
Marchetta was also a stadium steward.
