Fatal accident in Bad Tölz: collision in the backwater on B13

A fatal accident occurred on Friday in the backwater on the B13 in front of the traffic lights on the Flinthöhe in Bad Tölz.
A scooter driver (76) from Holzkirchen collided with a BMW.
Bad Tölz – In a traffic accident on the B13 at the entrance to Bad Tölz, a 76 scooter driver from Holzkirchen died late on Friday morning.
The accident happened in the backlog that can often be observed there before the intersection with the B472 on the Flinthöhe.
Collision in the backwater on B13 in Bad Tölz: 76-year-old dies
According to the police, the following is known about the course of the accident so far: while a column of vehicles coming from Holzkirchen was waiting in a traffic jam in front of the traffic lights at around 11.20 a.m., a 25-year-old from Tölzer drove past the queue with his left hand.
He then wanted to turn right between the vehicles onto Am Lettenholz street.
At the same time, the 76-year-old meandered his scooter between the waiting cars and the turn.
As the BMW turned right, the scooter collided with the car.
Due to the fall, in which he also crashed into the seat of a 29-year-old from Viersen (North Rhine-Westphalia), who was standing in a traffic jam, the Holzkirchner suffered fatal injuries.
B13 in Bad Tölz closed after fatal accident
The two car drivers were not injured in the accident. There was property damage of around 7500 euros.
The fire brigade and the road maintenance department diverted the traffic.
The scene of the accident was closed for several hours and there were significant traffic delays.
To clarify the exact course of the accident, the Munich public prosecutor commissioned an accident analysis report.
The vehicles involved were seized for this purpose.
