In recent years, Goldin Financial, which has repeatedly reported negative news such as financial difficulties, had its chairman Pan Sutong filed for bankruptcy earlier.
The Bank of China Shenzhen Branch also filed a petition with the High Court yesterday (26th), requesting that Pan Sutong be ordered to go bankrupt.
According to the website of the Judiciary, the case is scheduled for hearing on August 2 this year.
The petitioner is Bank of China Co., Ltd. Shenzhen Branch, and the respondent is Pan Sutong.
Pan Sutong has been involved in many money and debt lawsuits in recent years. In November and December last year, he was successively filed for bankruptcy by China CITIC Bank and Xinhua Finance Co., Ltd.
Pan applied to revoke the petition on the grounds that Xinhua Finance abused the procedure.
The judge adjourned the decision after hearing arguments earlier.
