Bathers in Erlangen had to leave the outdoor pool due to the severe storm.
This is now causing some fierce criticism.
The pool manager has spoken.
Erlangen - Strong storms have recently hit Bavaria, and Franconia has also been affected by rain, storms and thunderstorms - as has Erlangen.
The outdoor pools therefore had to close early on Friday evening (May 20).
