Legislative in the Hauts-de-Seine: excluded by LREM, the two dissident candidates continue to ride for the majority

The presidential movement excluded, on Thursday, Fayza Basini and Adama Traoré because both candidates against the one who was officially invested

This Friday afternoon, Fayza Basini continued her campaign as if nothing had happened, in the 6th district of Hauts-de-Seine, in Neuilly then Puteaux.

This historic Walker is however one of the 91 legislative candidates excluded, Thursday, by LREM, on the grounds that they are facing those who have been officially invested by the presidential majority.

Adama Traoré is the second Hauts-de-Seine candidate on this list, also in the 6th constituency.

Unlike Fayza Basini, who presents himself without a label, shows him the colors of the UCE (Union of centrists and ecologists).

But both continue to proclaim themselves from the majority, which nevertheless preferred the outgoing deputy Constance Le Grip, defector of LR.

“Neither disappointed nor angry”, Fayza Basini says she is rather “surprised” at her exclusion.

“I withdrew from my movement on May 18, when I submitted my candidacy for the legislative elections with immediate effect, for consistency.

I had had no return, is surprised the municipal councilor of Neuilly-sur-Seine.

I am a free candidate, there is no dissidence in my approach.

I am proud to have joined the President of the Republic and I remain behind him.

“There are the administrative decisions and there are the activists, the elected officials who are behind me and pushed for my candidacy.

There are those who are invested and those who have really invested since 2016, ”says Fayza Basini, however, more willing to scratch Constance Le Grip.

"I think it's a mistake"

The business manager denies playing into the hands of the opposition, while the right and the center are showing their divisions in this constituency.

“The president is popular there, he had 49% in the first round of the presidential election.

If there was any doubt, I wouldn't have shown up.

Adama Traoré, whom "Le Parisien" failed to reach this Friday, also ignores his exclusion.

“I have just learned that I am excluded from En Marche because I am running in the sixth constituency to defend ecology, the priority of the presidential majority.

I think it's a mistake, "he merely reacted ironically on Thursday on his Twitter account.

🔵⚪🔴 I have just learned that I am excluded from @enmarchefr because I am presenting myself on the #circo9206 to defend Ecology: the priority of the Presidential majority

😱 📌 I think it's 1 error ‼

Always on social networks, he claims to have “no regrets.

I prefer to stick to my beliefs.

And reserves his shots for Constance Le Grip.

“I will receive my leaflets tomorrow (

this Friday

) and I will distribute them to defend my ideas/values.

The current mistrust will only recede if we have the audacity to change yesterday's practices.

I can't tow for the one I fought for 5 years: it's consistency, ”he continues on Twitter in response to his supporters.
