No new refugees

The war in Ukraine continues unabated, here the bombed city of Mariupol.
But currently no new refugees are arriving in Erding.

For the first time since the beginning of the war in the Ukraine on February 24, no new refugees were assigned to the district by the government of Upper Bavaria last week.
Erding - 1083 refugees are currently registered, 469 of them under the age of 18.
673 live with private individuals, 410 in district accommodation.
Spokeswoman Claudia Fiebrandt-Kirmeyer calls these numbers.
Some refugees have moved on, and there are also family reunifications.
So far there have been no unaccompanied minors.
The district office is looking for interpreters for Ukrainian and Russian to support the full-time and volunteers.
Employment with the district is possible.
So far, the district administration has issued 692 work permits.
1511 appointments were offered.
From June 1st, Ukrainians will no longer be able to use the MVV for free.
The authority recommends the new nine-euro ticket.
From June 1st, the job center Aruso, Tel. (0 81 22) 95 90 77, will be responsible for drawing benefits.
