On a playground in Düsseldorf, two children were racially insulted by a strange mother.

The woman is said to have even hit a boy.

Update from May 27, 2:57 p.m .:

In the case of a mother who is said to have hit a strange child in a playground in Düsseldorf in March, the suspect is now being searched for with photos.

The Düsseldorf police have published two photos showing the unknown woman.

The 35 to 40-year-old is said to have racially insulted an 11-year-old boy on a playground in Flingern.

When his 12-year-old boyfriend demanded that the woman apologize, she allegedly slapped him across the face several times.

The Düsseldorf police will receive information about the suspect on 0211/870-0.

Dusseldorf: mother hits and insults strange children on the playground

First report from March 31:

Düsseldorf – Two children aged 11 and 12 are said to have been racially insulted by a strange mother in a playground in Düsseldorf.

The woman is said to have hit the 12-year-old boy several times.

Now the state protection of the Düsseldorf police is investigating, as reported by 24RHEIN.

According to the Düsseldorf police, the incident happened on Monday afternoon (March 28) at around 4:05 p.m. in a playground in Flingern.

The two boys would have played alone on the playground at Hermannplatz.

There was also a mother with her two children.

Then, for unknown reasons, there was a dispute between the mother and the two boys.

Apparently not for the first time, as reported by the police.

"The woman is said to have insulted the boys in a xenophobic manner and even slapped the 12-year-old several times," said a police spokesman.

The boy immediately called the police, but the mother and her children were gone before officers arrived.

The police are now looking for witnesses to the incident and released a description of the woman:

• Hair: blond, straight and tied in a ponytail of medium length

• Attire: Banana motif dress and sandals
