The mysterious incident that took place yesterday (Thursday) at the military test site in the Iranian city of Perchin, which is about 30 kilometers from Tehran, in which an Iranian engineer was killed, was in fact the product of a deliberate action by suicide skimmers, the New York Times reported.

According to the American newspaper, which relied on Iranian elements involved in the details of the attack, as well as based on a leak by a US official, the attack took place inside a building located in a compound used by the Revolutionary Guards Department of Defense.

The attack, as publicly claimed in Iran, killed a young engineer who worked for the firm and injured another person.

It is not clear who was behind the attack, but an American source who spoke to the New York Times confirmed the details of the leak, but did not specify who was behind it.

Although Israel did not take responsibility for the incident, the newspaper claimed that it was open

Its operation has characteristics that are appropriate for Israel in similar attacks in Iran and Lebanon in recent years.

It also took place just two days after the assassination of Hassan Siad Khadairi, a senior figure in the Revolutionary Guards, who according to the media was responsible for planning terrorist attacks against Israel, senior Americans and other elements.

Following the assassination, the New York Times also claimed that Israel had admitted to the United States that it was the one behind the assassination of the senior Iranian official.

As you may recall, on the night between Wednesday and Thursday, an "accident" was reported at the test site, which had previously given rise to indications of a nuclear test, in stark contrast to the Iranian claim of the non-existence of a military program in the nuclear field.
