The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces destroyed hundreds of Ukrainian military targets during the past 24 hours, including headquarters for mobilizing forces and equipment, command centers and missile systems.
The Ministry's spokesperson, Major General Igor Konashenkov, stated in a press briefing today that, using high-precision air missiles, the positions of the 10th Mountain Attack Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were bombed in the vicinity of the town of Bakhmut in the Donetsk People's Republic, and seven command and control headquarters and 30 manpower and combat equipment mobilization sites were destroyed. And the destruction of the Buk-M1 air defense missile system in the Barkenkovo region, in addition to a radar station in the town of Gusarovka, Kharkov province.
Konashenkov stated that Russian operational and tactical aviation targeted 44 sites for mobilizing manpower and combat equipment, eliminating 250 Nazis and disabling 84 pieces of combat equipment, including 9 tanks, 5 Grad rocket launchers, 10 field guns and 22 vehicles of various types.
He pointed out that the Russian air defense media shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft in the Odessa region, and 8 drones in the Kharkov region and the Donetsk Republic.
Konashenkov stated that missile and artillery forces destroyed 77 unit management posts, 412 manpower and combat equipment mobilization sites and 53 artillery positions, and a new attempt to cross the Seversky Donetsk River by erecting a pontoon bridge in Kharkov province was thwarted.
According to Konashenkov, since the start of the special operation, 180 aircraft, 127 helicopters and 1,027 drones have been shot down, 324 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,281 tanks and other armored vehicles, 428 rocket launchers, 1,693 field guns and mortars and 3,218 special military vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed.
