Traditional company from Aubing gets involved: Schuhhaus Huttenloher opens again

In July, the Huttenloher shoe store on Bahnhofstrasse in Maisach opens its doors again: Josef and Evi Huttenloher happened to find a successor for their traditional business after all.

Maisach – The shop is rented out to Andreas Dittrich from “Schuh Dittrich”.

His shop on Altostrasse in Munich-Aubing has to close at the beginning of June because the building is being demolished.

From July, according to Evi Huttenloher, he wants to offer men's and women's shoes and repairs in Maisach.

Unfortunately, there is no longer a range for children.

Schuhhaus Huttenloher: Goes well together

The Huttenlohers are relieved and happy: they continue in their shop, which has been taken over by a long-established family of shoemakers (since 1921).

That fits so well because the roots of the Huttenloher shoe store go back as far as the 17th century.

"Mr. Dittrich even wants to take our name," says Evi Huttenloher.

So it stays with the Huttenloher shoe store, with a poster already hanging on the front door: "Reopening in early July - owner family Dittrich".

The new owner has a lot of ideas and is very familiar with "comfortable shoes", says Evi Huttenloher.

Now only the many customers from before would have to buy from the Dittrich family.

Schuhhaus Huttenloher: Contact by chance

The contact came about by chance, reports the 63-year-old.

A customer told her husband that Dittrich also offers "comfortable shoes".

And so Josef Huttenloher went to Aubing, we exchanged ideas, got closer.

Dittrich looked at the rooms in Maisach and agreed.

Josef Huttenloher wants to continue his orthopedic business, at least until the end of the year.

He had continued his work after the shoe store closed at the end of April.
