The pro-Russian separatists of Donetsk claimed on Friday May 27 to have conquered the locality of Lyman, in eastern Ukraine, an important railway junction which opens the road to the major cities of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.

On its Telegram account, the separatist Territorial Defense Staff in Donetsk said it had "
taken complete control
" of Lyman with the support of the Russian armed forces.
