The expansion of the kindergarten in Adelshofen into a children's home is a little behind schedule.
Adelshofen - Mayor Robert Bals (WG ANL) has not given up hope that the house can be occupied - at least in part - in autumn.
The assignment of some outstanding work has now been accelerated.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular FFB newsletter.)
"The architect is a little behind schedule with the tenders," Bals said at the recent council meeting.
In order not to lose any more time, he now had the committee give him permission to award various works with an estimated total value of more than 263,000 euros without having to submit the offers to the council members again.
"We can't wait until the next meeting," said Bals, referring to the delivery times for building materials.
The extension building is now in place, and Robert Bals describes the construction progress as "in the middle of the interior work".
"Meanwhile you can see where our money is going." Whether the planned move-in date in autumn can be kept is not yet certain.
"But I have high hopes," said Bals.
The council unanimously approved the award of the work by the head of the town hall.
