Al-Hasakah Governorate Police Command honored today a number of families of the martyrs and wounded of the Internal Security Forces, during a celebration marking the 77th Anniversary of the Internal Security Forces and Police Day, in the Security and Order Keeping Battalion in Meridian District.
The ceremony included presentations of speeches about the honorable history of the Internal Security Forces and the police and the heroic stances and sacrifices they made to preserve the security of Syria, noting that the 29th of May 1945 was not the only national position of the Internal Security Forces and the police against the French occupier, but rather they had a long history in Confronting this occupation and participating in the October Liberation War in order to confront terrorism and the dark forces that wanted to strike Syria and its steadfastness.
In a speech delivered by a representative, the families of the martyrs expressed their feeling of pride in the honor bestowed by the martyrs to their families through their defense and sacrifice of their most precious possessions to preserve Syria's unity and preserve its dignity.
Marwan Awwad, Mahmoud Abdel-Rahman, Mustafa Al-Yassin and Nizar Khalaf said that the injury for the sake of the homeland and defending it is a great honor, and the feeling of pride and pride rises with every occasion and celebration to honor them, noting that the highest honor for them is the continuation of the Internal Security Forces on their right track to remain the main supporter of the brave army The Syrian Arab in its war on terrorism until victory is achieved and the Syrian soil is cleansed.
The event was attended by the Governor of Al-Hasakah Ghassan Khalil and the Secretary of the Al-Hasakah branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Eng. Turki Aziz Hassan, a number of army officers, the Internal Security Forces and popular activities.
