The ongoing rehabilitation and maintenance work and the installation of production lines are continuing at the Tal Balat grain silos center of the General Grain Corporation in the eastern countryside of Aleppo to put it into service.

The Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Amr Nazir Salem, during a tour of the center, pointed out the importance of rehabilitating the silos and starting to retrieve the wheat crop after a 12-year hiatus after it was destroyed by armed terrorist organizations, pointing out that it will start receiving the wheat crop with a quantity of 50 thousand tons, in both types of dukma. or bagged.

In turn, Engineer Abdul Latif Al-Amin, Director General of the Syrian Grain Corporation, stated that the grain silos in Tal Balat were rehabilitated with national expertise and cadres, and that a number of mills in the city were fed with wheat material, which would help in storing large quantities of the material that sufficed their needs.

Engineer Antoine Kellaja, head of the Tel Balat grain silos center, indicated that the maintenance work included rehabilitating the cranes and technical holes for receiving grain and securing the necessary engines.

Minister Salem inspected the progress of work in the modern Aleppo mill and a number of private mills contracted with the state in Tal Balat in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, and was briefed on their readiness and the extent to which flour is secured for bakeries.

Minister Salem also met with the cadres of the branch of the Syrian Grain Corporation in the establishment's building, where he stressed the diligent work and providing facilities for farmers, especially in light of the current circumstances.
