Sophie Pusch, Leon Lauber, Felix Oßwald and Valentin Buchmeier are the four best students of this year's Abitur class at Geretsried High School.

Geretsried – For the announcement of grades this Friday, two high school graduates from the Gymnasium Geretsried took the fine thread out of the closet.

And their feelings should not deceive Leon Lauber and Felix Osswald.

Along with Valentin Buchmeier and Sophie Pusch, they are among the best of their year.

Gymnasium Geretsried: These are the best high school graduates of their year

Leon Lauber from Geretsried passed a 1.2 high school diploma.

However, the 17-year-old did not do so well in one subject: 8 out of a possible 15 points were awarded in German.

"I'm not doing so well there," said Geretsrieder after the grades were announced.

Was it because of the choice of exam question?

He had decided to analyze a drama by Goethe.

Doesn't matter.

He definitely has his high school diploma in his pocket.

The 17-year-old does not yet have a specific career aspiration.

But he would like to start studying technology and management at the Technical University in Munich in the fall.

Until then he wants to enjoy the time and work for the Stöger company in Königsdorf.

Exams easier than in previous years

Valentin Buchmeier will also have an average grade of 1.2 in his certificate.

The exams were easier this year than in previous years, says the 18-year-old, who, like many other students, had watched the exams from previous years for practice purposes.

The Wolfratshauser wants to relax first, travel to Lake Garda and Croatia.

As far as his professional training is concerned, he is still undecided.

"Probably studying, but I'm not sure what exactly," says the graduating student.

In his free time, the young man likes to draw.

Maybe it's in the direction of design – or business.

Good preparation, decent result

Felix Oßwald could also make friends with a classic business administration degree – business informatics or industrial engineering – as he said.

And nothing should stand in the way of this cut: The Geltinger passed his Abitur with a grade of 1.1.

He prepared well for the tests and that has now paid off with a decent result.

When asked what his career aspirations are, the 18-year-old replies with a smile: "Private in his mid-40s." But now he's going abroad for six months, to Australia as an au pair.

Dream grade 1.0 for Sophie Pusch

The best of the bunch is Sophie Pusch from Baierlach.

She managed the dream mark of 1.0.

According to her own statements, she "didn't have to bend over backwards".

Enviable.

She went into the exams with a good feeling, the young woman looked back.

The confirmation was black and white, even if a 1.0 was never her goal, as she said.

Pusch also wants to enjoy the summer first.

Together with friends she wants to explore France's capital Paris.

The 18-year-old wants to study biology and computer science from autumn.

"I hope that's the right thing."

By the way, Leon Lauber and Felix Osswald can get their suit and tie out of the closet again on June 24th.

Then the Abitur is celebrated at the Abiball in the Wolfratshauser Halle.
