Deputy Head of the Military and Civil Administration of the Kherson region Kirill Strimosov announced today that the borders of the Kherson region bordering the Ukrainian regions under the control of the Kyiv regime have been closed for security reasons.
“The border is closed for security reasons,” Strimosov told Sputnik. “Crossing the border from the Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions is very dangerous due to the constant bombardment by Ukrainian militants,” noting that the authorities “advise citizens not to go to Ukraine at all under any pretext.”
The Russian forces completed the liberation of the Kherson region in southern Ukraine a few weeks ago as part of the special military operation to protect the Donbass region, which was launched on the 24th of last February.
