Three people were killed and three were injured in a serious accident between a truck and two private vehicles near Paran on the Arava road.
MDA medics and paramedics report 6 casualties.
MDA paramedics have determined the deaths of three of the occupants of the vehicles, a man and a woman trapped in the vehicle and a 13-year-old girl, and are providing life-saving medical care to a child in a critical condition and two seriously injured.
The head of the Middle Arava Regional Council, Meir Tzur, commented on the accident and said: "Nationally to save lives. This is despite the harsh requests and data from the accidents on Road 90 that are before the ministers and Knesset members. In the last decade alone, there have been 234 road accidents on the 90-blood-red Arava Road, in which 462 people were injured, 33 of them dead."
An action team of residents of the Middle Arava signed 6,000 drivers including bus and truck drivers demanding the immediate widening of the road.
