The National Office for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements of the Palestine Liberation Organization explained in a report published today on its website that the occupation authorities had seized the Ain al-Auja Nature Reserve in the Wadi al-Muklak area, which is the largest reserve in the West Bank, noting that its area is estimated at 22,000 dunams and extends from the east of the city. And it is not the first time that the occupation authorities have seized Palestinian natural reserves, as the report indicated that they seized seven reserves two years ago in Wadi Al-Qalaq between the Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area east of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, in Wadi Al-Malha in the Jordan Valley and Wadi Al-Fara’a with its springs, to the east of the city of Nablus and the western slopes of the mountains Palestine in the Beit Surik area of ​​Jerusalem.

The report stated that the occupation forces demolished part of the stairs of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron and began excavation work in the western outer courtyards of the mosque to change its historical identity and Judaize it, while the occupation seized 520 dunums of Palestinian lands in the town of Dura, west of the city, to link two settlements established in the town, which will create a block A huge settlement spanning an area of ​​811 acres.

The report pointed out that the occupation forces demolished a mosque in Qalqilya, two houses in the town of Beit Safafa in Jerusalem, several agricultural facilities in the town of Yatta in Hebron, and houses in the towns of Kafr ad-Dik in Salfit and Duyuk al-Tahta in Jericho, while they delivered demolition notices to three homes in the village of al-Jawaya in Hebron. Palestinian lands in the towns of Qusra and Douma in Nablus and the Khirbet al-Farisiya area in the northern Jordan Valley.

The report stated that the settlers continue to attack the cities and towns of the West Bank under the protection of the occupation forces, as they stormed the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem and the towns of Burqa, Urif, Hawara, Burqa, Qaryut and Qasra in Nablus and the Beit Anun area east of Hebron and the town of al-Jawaya south of it, and attacked Palestinians and their property, while forcing farmers in the towns of Kafr al-Deek in Salfit and Shufa in Tulkarm to leave their lands. They also bulldozed areas of Khirbet Al-Farisieh lands in the Jordan Valley to expand a settlement established there, and cut the main road linking Nablus to Jenin and obstructed Palestinian traffic.
