Uvalde teacher: "I told the parents, their children are my children"

Mercedes Salas, a teacher at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, remembers between tears and heartbreaking feelings her students who died in the massacre.

"I told several of my students' parents, their children are my children," says Salas.

In the central square of Uvalde, there are crosses that symbolize the lives that were lost, where roses and offerings can be left in her honor.
