A woman was suspected of drowning in the Shing Mun Reservoir in Tsuen Wan. At 2:47 pm today (28th), the police received a report from a passerby that a woman was found floating and sinking in the Shing Mun Reservoir.
Rescue personnel rushed to the scene, and the firefighters immediately rescued the female victim, who was in a coma at the time. The ambulance crew immediately gave her first aid, but the rescue was ineffective, and she was certified dead at 3:40 pm.
Police are investigating the identity of the deceased and the cause of the incident.
According to a source at the scene, the victim, who was in her 40s, was found in neat clothes.
