At about 9 pm today (28th), the police received a report from a man in Hong Shui House, Shui Pian Wai Village, Yuen Long, saying that his wife and his son, who was about 1 year old, were burning charcoal in the flat. The two were unconscious. He was taken to Pok Oi Hospital by ambulance for rescue, but the youngest son was confirmed dead after rescue.
Yuen Long District Criminal Investigation Team No. 7 investigated the incident at the scene.
According to sources, the couple have a one-and-a-half-year-old son, and his wife is a housewife. The son needs regular physical therapy due to his illness.
The husband saw his wife and children in good condition before leaving home at 8 o'clock this morning. When he returned home at 8 o'clock in the evening, he found that his wife and children were in a coma in the bedroom. There is a suicide note that mentions being troubled by the pressure of his son's patient.
