The Schlager icon, on the other hand, does not seem to support the fact that the music business is now moving much faster.

Young artists in particular would have a harder time, emphasized Bernhard Brink (the stage names of the hit stars and their real names) in the "Kölner Treff" interview.

The 70-year-old also shared indirectly against his colleague Florian Silbereisen, who has been the face of the “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” jury since 2022.

"When I see today how young, wonderful talents are burned away at DSDS, for a short time.

They'll be thrown away.

We were really lucky back then, we were better off and had more time
