"Do not worry that you too come to the Plain to look for some work".
This is the phrase, with a racist background, said by a host of a local TV in the Veneto to a child during a live broadcast after the Cosenza-Vicenza football match that led the red and white to relegation.
The curtain has been depopulating for over a week on the web and was born in the post-match of the return final of the salvation playout, played in Cosenza on 20 May last.
During the interviews carried out by the Venetian Delta TV correspondent, a Cosenza fan came to the microphone with his little son in his arms.
The two expressed their joy for the victory and the child, under the suggestion of his father, exclaimed: "Wolves are born", referring to the symbol of the Calabrian team.
At that point the presenter of the program replied in a piqued way from the Vicenza studios: "And cats are made. Don't worry that you too come to the plains to look for some work".
A comment then reinforced by the correspondent's reply: "Not bad" she commented.
At that point the controversy broke out, which continues today, with dozens of comments and with a letter written by the Cosentino fan to the Vicenza presenter.
"You should know and demonstrate to those you are addressing what ethics and morals are, two qualities apparently unknown to you", wrote the supporter of Cosenza.
