Lenggrieser SC helps relegated Kohlgrub back into the game.
After a quick 2-0 lead, Kohlgrub equalizes within two minutes.
LSC finally wins 4:2, but misses many chances.
Kohlgrub/Lenggries – It was unmistakable that the Lenggrieser team wanted to seize their minimal chance of relegation when they were relegated to Bad Kohlgrub.
From the start, the guests from the Isarwinkel only knew one direction - to the Kohlgruber Tor.
If FC keeper Manuel Bichler was able to parry Jakob Gerg's penalty (12th), the next two Lenggrieser attacks were successful: Jakob Gerg was again the initiator of a nice action and shortly afterwards executed a counterattack in cooperation with Max Scheck.
However, the long-distance duel against second-placed TSV Murnau was already lost at this early stage.
Because TSV Murnau was no less determined and strong in polling: barely a quarter of an hour had passed and district league bomber Georg Kutter had shot TSV 3-0 in front – uncatchable.
This realization stuck in people's minds and it took the home side just two minutes to equalize after the break.
A mistake in central defense and an unblocked volley from 20 meters away made it 2-2.
"Somehow a reflection of the season," grumbled coach Stefan Simon.
"We always help the opponent back into the game." But the coach's displeasure soon subsided.
Not only because Max Scheck and Jakob Hofer quickly restored the two-goal lead, but above all because there were still a number of flawless Lenggrieser combinations and before all goal chances.
Scheck missed the goal in front of the FC goal, Hofer's shot from the inside of the post bounced back into the field and Sebastian Dix narrowly missed from 16 meters.
Two set pieces by Michael Gerg and Luis Jendrzej just missed the Kohlgruber box.
"We could have done three or four more huts," said Simon, "but we didn't have the final determination." His season balance sheet: "We can be satisfied with third place.
It wasn't an outstanding season, but definitely one to build on."
FC Bad Kohlgrub – Lenggrieser SC 2: 4 (0: 2)
