The joint Iraqi forces eliminated three ISIS terrorists after two air strikes they carried out in the Zerlouk area in the Hamrin Mountains in the central Diyala province.
Alsumaria News quoted the Iraqi Security Media Cell as saying in a statement today that the Iraqi army’s air force continues its operations to pursue and eliminate “ISIS” terrorists, and carried out two air strikes by Iraqi F-16 planes, killing 3 terrorists, wounding another and destroying a nest for them in the Zerlouk area. In the Hamrin Mountains, within the Diyala Operations Sector, pointing out that the two operations were carried out under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command, following accurate intelligence information from the National Intelligence Service, and in coordination with the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command.
The day before yesterday, the Iraqi forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by ISIS terrorists in the central province of Diyala, as part of their continuous operations to pursue and eliminate the remnants of ISIS terrorists in various regions of Iraq.
