The facts, revealed by the daily

, occurred around 8:15 p.m. in a working-class district in the center of Marseille (3rd arrondissement), where these two young men were the target of a shooter armed with a handgun and circulating on an electric scooter, according to a police source.

The older of the two victims died on the spot, the same source told AFP.
