The state memorial service in memory of Ethiopian Jews who perished on their way to Israel is currently being held at the Herzl Tomb plaza in Jerusalem.
The ceremony will be attended by President Yitzhak Herzog, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Deputy Speaker of the Knesset MK Zvika Hauser, (Acting) President of the Jerusalem District Courts, Justice Shmuel Herbst, Minister of Immigration and Absorption Pnina Tamano Sheta and with the participation of ministers, MKs, The caseworkers and dignitaries of the community.
