The theory has been known since the definition of the meaning of science that Aristotle singled out for the realization of the total, and it is still gaining vitality and renewing its significance and plurality, as is the indication of science itself, and the clearest evidence of what the age owes to theory is the quantity, diversity and essentiality of theoretical material in the last two centuries.
The book (Theories in the Dock) by researcher Mahmoud Badawi Naqsho deals with the concept of theory and the extent of the world’s need for it. It also deals with theories that have been proven wrong despite humanity’s adoption of them, such as the old theory that the earth is the center of the universe and it is flat. The church adopted it and the astronomer Galileo Galilei was tried when he said that the earth is round Before the Inquisition and forced to retract his scientific statements.
The book issued by the Syrian General Book Organization, which is located in 559 pages of large pieces, contains six chapters that deal in the first chapter with the theory from the meaning to the digital revolution, explaining the meaning of the theory in language and terminology and the extent of humanity’s need for it, while in the second chapter it deals with the errors and problems of some theories through theories War and Peace and a Critique of the Great Theories.
In the third and fourth chapters of the book, the researcher deals with the evil theories in the universe, the philosophy of evil, the scientific racist theories of domination, alienation, extermination, superiority, racism, international conflict, theories of media control and the totality of theories that ruined the world. The sixth chapter deals with what is behind the theories, employing them and investing them in the service of politics.
It is noteworthy that the researcher inscribed a chemical engineer and poet, and he is a member of the Arab Writers Union, the Poetry Association, among his works in poetry (Leafs of Another Autumn), (Questions of Fires) and (Bridge of Desolation) and in research (Entropy and Poetry) in addition to a research manuscript entitled (Beyond Abstraction).
