Today, a missile attack targeted the Ain Al-Assad base in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq.
Alsumaria news website quoted an Iraqi security source today: "Two missiles fell today near Ain al-Assad base in the governorate," noting that the launch was from the base's western direction, without giving further details.
It is noteworthy that the Ain al-Assad base, which includes the international coalition forces, has been subjected to several attacks recently, the most violent of which was the targeting of 14 missiles last July.
