In Cologne-Ossendorf, there was a dispute between competing showman families over advertising posters.

Two people were seriously injured.

Cologne – When the advertising posters are torn off, the fun apparently stops for showmen.

At least that is what the scenes suggest that took place on Sunday evening (May 29) at around 6:50 p.m. on Mathias-Brüggen-Straße in Cologne-Ossendorf.

At least nine members of two competing showman families are said to have clashed there.

According to the Cologne police, two 22 and 39-year-old participants suffered serious injuries – the older one presumably with a machete – and remained in hospital.

The police used eight patrol cars to separate the parties, reports 24RHEIN.
