This evening, singer Mahmoud El-Haddad took to the drama stage through an evening hosted by Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts with the band led by Tarek Skiker to present a rich musical program in the presence of a remarkable audience.
During the evening, he reviewed many different oriental lyrical colors, as he gave each color the appropriate method with the rawness of its tarab voice and with professional capabilities.
Al-Haddad opened the evening with the song Ya Hanina, which was written by Omar Halabi and composed by Rafiq Shukri. The ceremony lasted for an hour, with traditional songs written and composed by great musicians such as Omar Al-Batsh, Nihad Al-Najjar, Suhail Arafa, Fakhri Al-Baroudi and other great Syrian composers and authors.
Among the songs that were presented by the people’s legs and Yabo Redin, why am I and the length of the structure a day, in addition to many songs, each of which dates back to a special artistic golden stage, and the evening included a link to Syrian songs from Maqam Al-Hijaz to Al-Qudud Al-Halabi, where he presented the song “Khamrat Al Hob” which was composed by the late Sabah Fakhri To conclude his evening with the song "Heya Al-Sham", written by Issa Ayoub and composed by Samir Helmy.
It is noteworthy that Mahmoud Al-Haddad was born in Damascus Governorate in 1989 and grew up in the atmosphere of Sufi singing and improvisation of Arabic poetry. Member of the Syndicate of Artists in the Damascus Countryside Branch and in the Syrian National Band for Arab Music led by Maestro Adnan Fathallah since 2013 and performed with her several concerts as a solo singer.
